how many vendors do you need to meet with before making a decision?
I've now met with two florists and two videographers. I've found one of each that I like and would be happy going with... but since I've only met with two I'm just nervous that I'm making a decision too fast...
However, I really don't have a whole lot of time to meet with more people because I begin working in a week, and then I'll be really busy (I'm a teacher) so I'd like to have these two closed out by the time school starts. And both vendors that I've tentatively chosen I'm pretty comfortable with - Wild Rose Video and Lovin Oven Florists.
Anyway... I really just need somebody to tell me that I'm not going to screw this up by choosing so fast!

i dont think that you have to meet with tons of vendors. . . especially now with the internet ( and especially this site) you can search vendors until you narrow it down to the few that you have to actually go see.
I saw two halls two photographers one DJ one florist
and i feel 100% confident with all of my choices so far!
again, it depends on the type of person you are - and if you will feel comfortable doing that. I know some people have to see ten vendors or they feel like they are not making the right choice. With me, once I feel confident with my vendor, I will book them A.S.A.P. I was giddy leaving every vendor I booked because I was so thrilled!

I usually make it a rule of thumb to always get 3 different estimates.

I know exactly how you feel because I am a teacher too. I say, go with your gut. You seem to like these two vendors. and honestly, there are so many out there that do a phenominal job. I'm sure you will make the right choice.

I met with
2 halls (but already put the deopsit down on the first one we visited because we loved it)
1 DJ
1 Florist
1 Photographer
1 videographer
tried on the first dress and it was it ...you get the idea LOL
We got reasonable prices and had word of mouth recommendations, so we knew that we didn't have to look too deep. Honestly, I did not want to be bothered - but I can say that now knowing who we went with and the past recommendations.

we looked at 4 halls, 2 photographers, one florist, one dj and one limo company. as long as you do your homework beforehand, don't worry about choosing too quickly. we made that mistake with the limo company... i wish i had known about this site BEFORE i booked everything. but we rebooked with another company and are very satisfied. our dj came from a VERY high recommendation and our florist is someone my parents have used for years and years so after our first meetings, i was happy and went with them. and as far as our hall and photographer, it just felt right... and i am very confident in our decisions.

I saw that Wild Rose was the videographer that you are comfortable with and you should definately go with your gut. They do absolutely beautiful work! One of my friend's used them for her wedding video and each time I watch it I still cry! I knew we were going to use them before we were even engaged
