from your list are you inviting to the shower? My FMIL says all at least the ones on her list, but that like 100 women! That seems like a financial buren on my BM's. What are you girls doing?

I had 70 on the list but told them to cut it based on $$$$, this seems to be the determining factor...I know that usually about 10 or 15 dont come if that helps any....

I was just talking about this with my mom. We are inviting 104 but I think only 80 will show and this is all family anda few friends. .
But I guess this is what happens when you have over 350 people invited to the wedding.

i have about 160 ppl invited to the wedding...i gave my MOH a list of about 45 ppl to invite to the shower.
i only wanted women who were important to me...not just anyone who was a female and invited to the wedding

I amtelling my sisters to invite all the women that are close to me like my friends and family. I am only inviting FH family that are women not his friends wives and girlfriends. I think it would be about 50-75 women.

See I've been to a 100+ person shower and how BORING to watch someone open all those gifts. You can only ooh and ahh so many times! Thanks though you really help every time I have a question no matter how significant or not. Thank you girls.

45 but 300 ppl at the wedding, some women are FMIL's good friends and my mothers good friends...they dont have to be at MYYY shower.... lol , im just having my good friends and family

OK NOW IM CONFUSED...so a shower is suppose to be when everyone 'usually' brings you the gifts you requested on the bridal registry right? But if you only invite a certain amount of people how are the other people (that arent invited to the shower) gonna know where you are registered?
