how many yarmulke's / kippah's do i need to order?
we're inviting about 140 people and having the ceremony at the RH so most of the people who come to the reception will be at the ceremony.

well count up the men and then subtract 25 i would say. not every guy will wear one (unless you know for a fact that most of the men are jewish and would wear one to a wedding ceremony)
oh if your basing it on the guest list before the invites go out, subtract more than that i would say

I would just order one for every make who will attend.
We're interfaith so we'll probaly order one for ever Jewish man we think will atend and then add about 30 or 25 in case my family decides they want them, or they think everyone needs to wear one

Yes, I had an interfaith wedding too and I would say order one for every man attending then add about 10-15 extra just in case.

i would say take 20% off of your guest list as nos, then assume maybe half are men and order enough. so,, if inviting 140 people, take off 20%, so 112 guests, then maybe order 60-70 yamulkas. You can alwayys have extras.
