How many years/months b4 your wedding did u...

order your dress?

I know that im 2 years out.

How early did u rec'v your dress?

1 year...they said it would take 5-6 mths to come in. it actually came in after like 4 so its been sitting at the salon forever!

you definitely want time to shop around and time to find the perfect dress...but you also don't want the dress hanging around your house months before the wedding. I ordered mine 12 months before, and it's going to take up to 9 to come in, then alterations. something to keep in mind!

I ordered my dress in Sept. I think it's too early for you just because people change their minds.

I went shopping today and found THE dress!! I love it and its unique. Being plus size its hard finding gowns that will compliment our figure so I plan on ordering my gown ASAP. I think that if you love your gown and your sure you won't find anything as beautiful on you..I would go for it.

i am having an oct 2011 wedding and ordered mine last week but am making payments on the deposit so that they don't have to order it right away because they don't order it until they have the full deposit. as soon as i found my dress i didnt even care how early it was, i knew i had to have it.

Wow! thats great that the salon held it for you, the salon i went to said they dont hold the gowns for insurance issues... Thats my issue-Storage

Thats one think i wont have a problem with is 'DRESS ENVY'... Once i make up my mind thats it-ive been like that since my younger years... If i put a dep on a dress,please believe i will have no business to con't looking for a dress....

I ordered it on June 2 and was told it would come in about 9 months. I was prepared for it to come in March.....but it really came in in December!!!!!

18 months. We were originally planning on a 2010 wedding so I ordered it with that in mind though. In fact, I had my dress before I had my engagement ring.

13 months before, i found it at the first store i went to. I ordered it in June and it came in rather quickly by November, I start fittings in June

I have to buy a nice big lock and lock it ina closet in my house because i dont want my husband to peek.
Plus it doesnt help that i dont trust it in any ones house out of my sight. My closest fam is in NY so its better off being with me.
