How may dresses did you try on before you got to the 'one'

I tried on about 30 in all. I bought the 5th one I tried on. I kept thinking about it as I tried on all the others after.

I tried on 5 but the dress that I fell in love with and bought was the first one that I tried on. I cant wait to put it on again

i would say 25

(some i had on b/c the ladies never saw them on anyone and wanted me to just try them on to see what they looked like )

i had so much fun.

may i make a suggestion?
i went alone one or two times. take a day off from work, and just go. if you are like me, i know what looks good on me - and it was really relaxing going alone

At least 50! I kept seeing dresses that I already tried on... if it took me 33 years to find my FH of course, finding the dress was going to take awhile too

i went to about 7 or 8 different places and tried about 5-10 at each place..i couldnt event tell you how many and i found like 5 of 'the perfect' dress and then my cousin called me to her shop because a new dress came in and that was it.....so probably like #588852

I tried on about 40-45 dresses. I really wanted to try on lots of dresses because I figured I would never have another chance like to do it again. It was lots of fun. I did find my dress by the time I got to the 30th. I put it on hold and went to try on other dresses just to make sure that it was the one. And it was (and I was having fun trying on dresses!)

i tried on 3 and 'the one' was number 3 but I kept on trying on more but kept on going back to #3. Bought it that day. Most people say you just know when you find 'the one'.

I bought the very first dress I tried on... though I went through the motions of trying on many more after it!

I did the same. I tried on 6 more, and was kind of between 2 of them... but i just kept going back to the one... I knew it was my dress

I bought my dress the first day out in the only place I looked. I think that I tried on about 10 (give or take).

I agree!!! Same here for me. It took 33 years to find him so why should the dress be any different!!!

Originally I was deciding between a Reem and an Anne Barge.. there was a significant price difference between the two. I decided to go with the Anne Barge- as it was more practical, but then realized- it was not the dress for me. I then found a totally different Reem that was priced in the same neighborhood as the Anne Barge.. so, thought it would be that one.. Then I found ANOTHER Reem-- and that was it.. It was definitely a process, but I would not have changed anything, cause I would maybe not have ended up with what I got. Which, btw was priced in between the original Reem and the Anne Barge. It was the only dress that made my mom cry-- just goes to show you cannot just make a decision on price. And- if that is the only thing that is making the decision for you, you should probably keep looking.
