Mine were about $70 with tax. They better be able to dye them to match my dress. They're going from white to less white, basically.
I hate spending that much money on shoes I'm only going to wear once and I know it's not even that much!

30 bucks for 2 pairs @ Payless.
A pair of white 'sandal' like shoes for the ceremony.. and a pair of white platform sneakers for the reception.
I'm even thinking about wearing the sneakers the whole time and dumping the 'ceremony dress shoes' but I know my family will make a stink about it... why they care about these little things, I dont know.. they're just shoes, afterall!

I bought ivory silk chinese slippers for the whole day. I am getting married at my hall and didnt want to worry about changing shoes. I ordered them online and spent about 20. They really are nice and comfy.
