How much

should I expect to spend on wedding bands? If you don't mind sharing how much you are spending, where you purchased and what they look like? TIA Trying to do a budget once again

Although I tried to have a budget & it all went out the window it really depends what you want I have heard that people have gotten rings for under $1000 but that was just simple white gold bands where others have spent over $2500 b/c they had diamonds. It really depends what you both are looking for.

FH is a haggler and he got both of our wedding bands for $1000. His is a thick gold band, mine has diamonds.

I have a diamond and platinum band that matches my e-ring.... FH bought a white gold band - both for $1000

I think we paid about $1000 for both. His is a tongston (sp?) metal and mine is white gold with diamonds. We bought so much jewelery from this one store that they hooked us up.

We went over budget and spent $5K on bands. These are one of the things we will have forever so we didn't mind spending the extra cash. I don't have a picture of mine, but they look like Jola's and Konrads. Both have 1 carat, great cut and clarity and platinum bands.

Believe it or not my FH band was more expensive than mine.

Mine was $600 1 1/2 cts of diamonds
FH's $500 with 1/2 cts of diamonds

My band will be $1500 (designed by FH )

He wants his to be white gold w/ diamonds, but will settle for a plain band now. Little does he know that I am budgeting $750 for his b/c when we pick out his plain band...I am going to go back ond REALLY order the one he wants!! SO our wedding band budget is $2250 for both.

wow, didn't know they were that much ... we looked in some stores and found them for like $200 but now i'm a little leary of doing that ... prob should just go to a jeweler
