well i say do what you are comfortable with...Don't spend more than you want even if others are doing it. Theres no set rule or what you have to do.

That is a very generous gift.
I think you should do what you think is best and what fits in your budget.
I plan to spend around $50 on each BM and between $75 - $100 on my two MOH's. We have 14 people in our BP, so unfortunately, it adds up fast !!!
