my band came with my ring as a full set (approx $2000)

Definitely under 600. We're just getting plain white gold bands, no bling. Unless platinum goes way down, but I don't mind if my metals don't match.

We went a little over board......our rings together came to $3500....FH had to get platinum so therefore I had to get an eternity band...lol
