How much has your guest list grown since you originally put your list together?
When we got engaged my list was at 130. Now 3 months later...we are at 177

Let's just put it this way: a HUGE selling point for us in regard to the Swan Club was that their largest room could hold 230 people max. FH's family is Bengali and if his mom had it her way, she'd invite the entire nation of Bangladesh.
The compromise with that is that post-wedding, she's going to throw a second reception for us for all of the people that we don't even know. She's planning it all, we just have to show up. Works for me!

i do not even want to think about it. i KNOW it has grown probably by at least 30-50 people. it makes me sick to even think how much more it will most likely grow in the coming months.

In my mind, our guest list should be about 225-250. However, there is no way of knowing if that is an accurate number or knowing if the guest list will grow because FMIL is purposely refusing to give us her numbers!!!!!!!!!!

we guaranteed 110 & my list had 110. but my parents added more people so the list is at 126. i get that you can't invite the same amount that you guaranteed but we didn't want anymore people.
if i hear one more, 'if you don't invite so & so they will be annoyed.'
you know what, so & so is 85 years old & has been to probably well over 100 weddings in their lifetime, why do they have to come to mine.

We're trying really hard not to go over 180. We haven't sat down and added up all the odds and ends but I'm hoping it won't be a problem!

I am going to try and stick to my 100 people even though my family is gonna be MAD because I have a huge family but people need to understand I'm broke.

We actually went down instead of up. FH and I are paying for the RH...and we definitely couldn't afford inviting like 240 people - our original list...FH practically had a heart attack when we priced that out. We are now down to around 185 (thank god)...

It hasn't changed lol. It's still about 200-225 and our min is 150.

Its only gone up a couple of people. Right now its at 132 and I'm about to send STDs out so if anyone thinks they are adding people to the list...THEY ARE MISTAKEN!!!

we originally thought we were going to have 150 people at maximum. and boy was i wrong!!! we are at 200 at this point.... is it bad that i hope not all of these people show up???

Ours went from 160 to 100 and after many, many revisions is at 138. I'm hoping 40 people say no. I wanted my minimum for budget purposes.
