how much....

should a basic dj be? no uplighting or anything extra.... I'm trying to figure out a budget for this...... even a range would be very helpful!!!

we got a dj and mc with uplighting for 2200...
maybe 1500-ish? or less......

Our basic DJ/MC package with nothing was abou $1500 and thats one of the higher end DJ's. You can probably get one for closer to 1,000.

High Voltage had packages for like 800 with one mc/dj and an asst. (so it's like you have two guys).

So if you want the one mc/dj you could def get around 800-900

I'm getting a basic package...mc/dj....basic lighting..5 hours for $1100

FM is $895 for a one man dj/mc combo. With a guitarist for the ceremony and CH we are paying like $1200 or $1300. No uplighting or extras or anything.

Oh wow. Thank you so much girls. I had NO idea where to start thinking in terms of budget. That's not too bad... FH's uncle asked me where my budget was (he's helping us find a guy since he knows a lot of people) and I was like, uhhhhhhh idk, let me ask the girls on LIW....
