so far my daughter hasn' t turned into a bridezilla so it has been alot of fun

Same here as much as I was allowed maybe a little more because it was long distance planning and Nina and Peter needed me to run around for them. It was fun and I miss it.

Since they are living out of state together, I have been doing the preliminary leg work. I am putting together the 'look intos' and then they'll check them out and make final decisions. It's been fun!

Hi...well the selection of Katie's dress first! That was the best. We ordered her headpiece two weeks ago. Besides that..lets see...bridesmaid dresses (just to preview before bringing the girls), looking for the florist, reception hall, shower ideas, color schemes, looking at invitations and guest lits. I guess that is most of it so far...how about you.

Well, I went with Deb when she bought her gown and tiara/veil, and for her first fitting; The next will be in Feb. I went with her the other day, to narrow down Bridesmaid gowns, shoes, and FG gown.
I made a purchase myself-a Mother of the Bride cap!! I just try to help in ways that facilitate Debi's life going a bit more smoothly, while she's in stress mode. That could be simply me driving the day we went to look at Bridesmaid gowns, and treating her to lunch. Mary

Ahh...sounds like you are not only helping your daughter, but really enjoying it as well. Lunch....nice so happy to see another mom enjoying this wonderful time!!

You betcha!!!!! Even though I wasn't with Deb, to go to the vendors, I think it's nice she and Fred did it together!! I don't know how many FH do that, but
Fred is a sweetie, and very supportive of Debi!! The other day, when their e-pics were canceled because of rain, and Deb was crying, Fred told her it would be alright, and go have her princess day, with her makeup and hair trial!! Of course, when Deb told me that, I went, 'Awwwwww.' Mary MOB
