My trial was free for both - salon was running a complimentary brides week - so only 20 in tips.

and 100 day of hair and 50 makeup

$130 make up
$130 hair

I received 20 $ off each , and she is comming to me . still tho.. it is crazy!

yup.. i went to get the trial.. (had to buy 1 or 2 items) then she offered to come to my house the day of.. and she charged $50.. the one in Roosevelt Field mall.. she did an amazing job!!

i went to Lisa.. in roosevelt field.. she was amazing! i got more compliments about my makeup more than my hair
i also think she goes to the smithaven mall too ..

My MIL paid for all of us (myself, MIL, SIL, and my niece) to get our hair and makeup done (non airbrush makeup btw) and I think it cost her about $350-400 for all of us.. not sure of how the prices were broken down but imo it was well worth it.. feel free to take a look at my pics (non pro are in my album) and FM me for information if you're interested- I had Sabrina (former MAC makeup artist-of Sabrina and Carolyn- a LIW vendor) for makeup and Clarisse of Hair Expo (works with Sabrina) in Oceanside for hair... the trial for me was like $65-75 for hair and idr how much for makeup but was reasonable.

I highly recommend both of them- they both did an awesome job and I got so many compliments.

I also think some of the prices that brides pay are just really outrageous!

Oh but I meant to tell you that I've been b*tching about this from day one. Like I don't even want any sort of fancy do. Like I could get a full head of higlights and a cut for $200

How is it hair and make up is like close to the price of a David's Bridal dress - my dress was like $400, so my makeup/hair can cost $300? Like so weird. More than my invites? $300 gets you a shuttle for THREE hours from my limo company. Ha ha. I don't get it.

Carolyn & Sabrina RULE. They are running a special right now. $100 per girl for both hair AND makeup and the bride is only $200 for both services. I'm booking w/them totally. I don't really want a trial, but I guess I have no choice.
