I looked at so many RHs and went through so many figures in my head!! I cant believe how expensive it is.
We're paying $67 pp for a Sat. afternoon in July @ Jericho Terrace. This also includes a few add ons (a roasting pig, chair covers, an extra station @ CH). I still feel like I'm paying so much!!

Did they give you the price quotes in writing? Because if you bring it back to them and show them the quotes you were given they should honor it!
they just jotted down the prices on the front of their brochure, lol, but the way our parents are, they'll convince the RH to give us an even better price, lol, gotta love pushy parents

Re: How much are you paying?
I am paying about $90 pp after tax and grat for a Saturday night wedding...I know that a lot of people dont want to get married in the cold...BUT they rh has thrown sooo much stuff in and all of the other vendors are much cheaper and are willing to give you extras because of the time of year...

oh wow, there is a severe difference. For a January Sunday evening I was told in the 60s per person.

Re: How much are you paying?
yes big difference I would have never though JT would range that high.... Im sure with some negotiation the price can be dropped.... I love oheka and my father would deal with the $250 pp but then 20k site fee is just a joke-- so we are back to the drawing board-- but it is nice to see that the price pp really ranges so I am glad we didnt decide on oheka--

Re: How much are you paying?
what type of hall are you looking for? If that is your budget, there are several halls around the area that are beautiful.
I went to JT, and while it was nice, it wasnt for us, but a price difference of 130+ seems a little steep for a peak off peak, usually its a 30-40 difference

Re: How much are you paying?
like i said, my quote was for a Sunday in january, but I just double checked my quote, and it was 60 pp, then tax and tip. Does the 195 per person include the tax and tip? I don't think the VH would add more than 15 per person to the cost, but I didnt ask about taht

Re: How much are you paying?
hmmm, maybe it depends on the room? Usually the halls give better deals the more people you have, thats why I am a little surprised. Thats the highest I have heard for JT.
