How much are you paying (did you pay) for Flowers?

I've gone to three florists so far (i fell in love with one-of course the most expensive one so far) but I was just curious how much you are spending (or how much you spent) on flowers since my Fh and my Mom both think my quotes are high

Also if you could tell me what you got (how many cp's how many Bm bo-ks, alter pieces etc) I would really really appreciate it (if you could post pics that would be a bonus!!) I'm totally stressing about this all!!

TIA

I don't know how much I will be spending on flowers yet. But I think the averageis between $3000 & $5000.

I paid wayyy too much and much more then I originally planned on spending so I am not a good person to ask.

I have to disagree though I think the average is between $1,500 - $2,500.

All of the quotes I got ( originally) were well under 3k and I was getting 15 tall centerpieces and have a large bridal party.

In the end I spent well over 4k on my flowers.

Well if I had gone with regular center pieces I probably would have paid a lot more than I did but we actually got an 8X8x8 square glass and half is stone and half is moss with 5 violets planted in it. It's beautiful and my middle name is violet so we incorporated it into our wedding as much as possible. STD and invites done in purple ink and the girls' dresses. The description I gave does no justice so after wedding (which is next weekend) I'll post pictures. We spent $1700 on flowers. I think it mainly depends on what kind of flowers you use, how many people in your bridal party (those bouquets add up) and how many center pieces you need. Anyways, good luck

I paid $750:

10 centerpieces, plus 2 smaller ones for the 6-person dais
My bo-k
MOH bo-k
4-bouteniers
9-corsages
2-potted plants/flowers
swag for the arch at the ceremony
rose/flower petals for the aisle
branches for the flower place card tree

Now, for my centerpieces, I am supplying the vase and candle and the florist is making a floral wreath to go around it.

It really depends on what you want - how many CP's, personal flowers, church decorations, etc.... It can vary greatly.

My Bok
12 BM Boks
18 Low CPs w/ Tapers, Votives and Petals
An arrangement for the placecard table
Boutineers (sp?)
Reader's Corsages
Petals to Throw

I think that covers it. FM me for more info.

I know I'm the cheap bride, but I'm getting my flowers at King Kullen and their prices are really good! The Selden one, by the Home Depot has a really nice lady name Tina who is wonderful. She is very helpful and she can give you a good price. If you want to make the flowers yourself Sam's club is a good place to go to. I'm doing a mix of both. It also helps if you use season flowers. Also I took a chunk out of my flower bill by not having bounties(spl) for the guys. My FH really isn't in to them and nor are the GM.

About $4000, which was good for all calla lilies, 12 in each vase. We had a family friend at James Cress. My bouquet and the BMs had them, too.
