How much are you paying for alternations?

My bridal salon is charging a fixed fee of $250. Good? Bad? Let me know.

mine is a flat fee of $595

mine came to 250 w double french bustle at B urtons I didnt buy the dress there but they were one of the only places that would take a dress that wasn't bought in their store.

one store actually told me they couldn't do it because it was their busy season I didn't think December/January was busy season in gown alterations

its disclosed to you when you place a deposit. did you get your dress? this info should be given to you if you did or ask!

Alterations are free


where did you go for your dress? or your getting a hookup for family or friend?

I got it at a boutique in North Bergen, NJ. They include free alterations w/ all dresses.

Mine is capped at 250, but I already paid an extra $100 or $150 to have the dress made by the designer (well workers lol) 6 inches shorter.

That's really good... mine is a flat fee of $495
