How much are you paying for Photo AND Video ??? (yes the first poll was FH's)

To be truly fair, the poll FH posted last night is not really giving him the idea he wants. He never understood photo and after going to an appointment last night with me he says it makes a lil more sense. He says it is still crazy how much (and my father says the same thing), but he's beginning to get it.

SOOOOO with that said...how much are you paying for photo and video. If you would like to clarify your response feel free, and if not it's ok....FH really wants a true idea of what people are spending

we are spending exactly $4,000 on both. but it would have been more if we hadn't eliminated certain things from our photog package.

i'm going to FM you exactly what our package is...

I have visited a couple of photo/video places and all that I visited quoted me over $8,000 but they did offer alot of things, some 2 photo and 2 video. I have not chosen who I am going to go with yet.

Video
Photo- 2 Parent Albums, 1 Traditional (not digital) album, 150 Thank you's, Engagement Photos

Im adding on Photo journalism (extra 900) on top of the 5K (additional photographer and separate album)

I got my video and photo with my package from wedding world my whole package is comming to about $5500 so i would say video & Photo is maybe $2000. Limo,tuxes,& boquets the rest.

I am paying 5000 for photography, the videographers that i liked were 3000 and over

so i will end up spending 8000 total or more

our package is about 5K tight now, but I want to add the photojournalist, so when I upgrade my package it will be about 6K

I'm about the same. It's the 2nd large part of our budget but in our opinion ENTIRELY worth it!

W visited a few & Booked w/ Taylor studios We're paying $2800 for both & albums. We;re also getting e-pics w/ 26 4x6 shots (these will be our table #ers), For photo, we get all images oin disk 50 image story book album, 100 4x6s, a few 5x7s & 1 Big print. We also will get 75 Photo Carsd for thank yous. 3- edited, chaptered, full coverage w/ begging montage, & honeymoon pics added to the end of our DVD...

My package came out to about $6800 for Imagine...face value its over $8K though...some place are expensive but u need to know how to negotiate with them...
