ugh i really dont want to spend the $350 for the veil at the bridal shop...planning on wearing it to church w/blusher...and i want it off for the party...
what are u guys paying for your veils? and what sites do u recommend?

If my mom makes my veil I will not pay a dime..hopefully..she is a seamstress and offered to make it for me..
.if I had to buy one I'd look at internet sites and maybe stores like Davids Bridal....
Or I'd try craigslist and buy it Used...I just can't stomach spending 300 for a piece of cloth that stays on my head for 1 day!

Funny... that is exactly what I am researching now, veils. Right now I am looking at usabrideweddings.com, but have not seen any that I like yet. I have a list of sites somewhere.. I can pass it on when I find it.

i got mine from tricounty for $180, fingertip with blusher and crystals on the edge. barrons can make it however you want and, from what i've seen, it's cheaper than bridal shops

I got my cathedral length veil with a 1/2inch satin trim for around $115 at barrons. It came out beautiful.
eta: my veil at the bridal shop was $1200!!! so i definitely looked elsewhere when i heard that price tag!

Fingertip veil with scattered crystals at Barron's for $85...I looked for months and flat-out refused to pay any more than that for a piece of mesh!!!!

I ordered mine from Kleinfelds when I ordered my dress. It was orig $1100 but i think they gave me a discount not sure how much though.

my mom offered to make it for me because she's very crafty and great at sewing and things like that... so we figure we'll see how it comes out and if i don't like it, we'll just buy it. lol.

my veil was $125 at Barrons'. It is a single tier, a little shorter than fingertip but longer than elbow, and has small crystals around the edge all around. It will be ready in May.

I bought mine from another LIW lady. Before that, I had been looking at an embroidered teo tier fingertip veil at barrons in tri county for $175. You can also check ebay. I had bought a catherdral veil for 35, then decided I wanted fingertip
