Re: How much are you paying per person
I'm retarded and answered the poll incorrectly. I actually don't know what it is with everything included, I never tallied it up lol. We are doing the works though

Yeah obviously the cheaper prices are for winter months - sat or sun afternoon weddings - I am well aware of that. I just wanted to see the range
Also depending if you have V-Hour - Seafood boat - Alcohol on tables and all that.....
Mine is coming right under $150 but I have Sat EVening - V-Hour - Seafood Boat during CH and Unlimited Wine on the tables.... So i know everything is extra pp per extra things!!!
I
thats not bad considering the extras you have

GREAT POSTING!
Gabbie - I think you are about right for a Sat night wedding with a lot of upgrades!
I voted under $90 but I think we are closer to $100 with tax and service charge but we are have Sat day and we booked 6 months out so we got a good rate due to a cancellation.

Re: How much are you paying per person
not sure if im getting a great price because im throwing an e party, or because my sister knows the owner, or if its because im paying for a bunch of stuff on my own. for the hall and food and drinks (unlimited reg drinks +cash bar) its right under 40 bucks pp, april 19th saturday 7pm to 11pm. but im also paying for the band, dj, cake, centerpieces, and extra linens sashes, (plus few small extras) so i think itll end up around 65 to 75 pp when all is said and done. and guest list is 280 so far but will not be more than 328.

Re: How much are you paying per person
We actually appear to be right in the middle . . .We're around $110 with tax / service charges. That includes Viennese, but no seafood boat. . . . .
But we're getting married on a Friday night in November, so that makes a huge difference.

Re: How much are you paying per person
I am under $90 without service charge and with service charge i am slightly over $100. I think the price we got was really good considering that we having it in the summer and an evening event (so no other wedding party can use our room for the entire day) because we booked late and one of the days we wanted was available.
I am not sure if you ladies know, but a lot of the catering halls are giving big discounts if you book with them under four or five months from the day of your event. We saved about $25 per person at our location. As for the other halls in Long Island, we were offered prices under $80 including service charge at several well known locations. I guess sometimes its pays off to plan late.

Re: How much are you paying per person
yes, i think the cash bar def makes a dif. more than 80 to 90 percent of our guests dont drink so we def dont need it (religious reasons). i wonder what it wouldve been if we had open bar. either way, im very VERY happy with my price, specially after seeing everything else out there.

If that many guests don't drink, I understand. My family are irish drunks (hope that doesn't offend anyone )
That sounds like a decent price still!!!!

once you add the word wedding they charge alot more. I had my e-party on a saturday night, and during the same month and night if it were a wedding it would've been more
