How much are you spending..

on your wedding shoes? I just saw a pair online that i'm in loooove with but they are about 300 bucks!!! Was wondering if this is bonkers to spend...they can be worn on other occasions. What are ya'll spending on shoes??

I didn't spend too much bc I hate heels, I wanted to be super comfy.. But I've spent $250 on shoes for a wedding I was in before if that helps?

i paid about $50 for mine and will prob never wear them again.

if you are absoultely in love with those $300 shoes, then buy them (if you'll wear them other times) ... otherwise, i'd wait a bit

ETA: i know at least one girl here who bought $1000 shoes for her wedding .... so by that standard, $300 is nothing

Thanks ladies....i've never spent that much on shoes (or anywhere near it) in my life so it's a little hard to swallow but I figure I only live once and it's my wedding!! You guys are the best

ugh. my first pair were $200, but they made me too tall so i bought another pair for $230. so now i have two pairs of white, satin shoes that i'll never wear.

while they made for pretty pictures, it was definitely a waste. unless you can totally wear them again, i'd go with something cheaper.

I spent $90 and was glad I didn't spend more, I can't ever wear them again. However, if you buy silver or another color which you can wear again, I'd go nuts!

I'm a shoe person....and i plan to get Louboutins for my wedding (the pair i really like are about $1800).....so i may not be the best person to ask.

I rather spend more on the shoes than the dress lol, but thats just me

I say do it... if you can wear them again then it will be worth it. I would spend that much on a pair I loved and would wear again!

I paid 60 for mine. I wouldn't have gone any higher than that unless they were shoes I planned on wearing again...which they were not.

I personally didn't want to spend a lot of money on my shoes because I plan on wearing them only on my wedding day and no one is going to be seeing my shoes. I found shoes for $80 even though I didn't want to spend that. But I think a bride should buy whatever shoes she wants for her wedding because it's her day!

I'm going to try to get Nina shoes because they are super comfortable for dancing in all night.. the last pair ran me around $100 but Im not willing to spend over $200 for the shoes I will never wear again and probaly will take off by the middle of the party!

i have 2 and there were discounts on both so i think they were about $130 each. but if you really love them and you can wear them again, i say go for it

I would've spent more but found exactly what I was looking for, by miracle, on a clearance rack at JC Penneys.

They ended up only $17.

I wore them for my BPics, to my shower, to the wedding and I've worn them since.
