we are spending 50 per person. my father would like to go somewhere nicer and spend a bit more, but FMIL said $50 was her max so we found a place

i think she might have given you her FH price instead

we haven't booked our RD yet, but I'm trying to keep it around $30pp since FILs are probably paying for the whole thing and we have to invite about 40 people.

WOW I'm an A**... I thought you meant the reception LOL

I honestly don't know what the cost per head is for the RD because FIL's are paying. I want to say though it's around $30-$40 per head for everything included and we are having around 45 people.
