I just went looking for the first time yesterday....and for 125 invitations I was quoted a little more than $1,000. I wasn't sure if this is within normal range...but then again...what is normal???!

i spent $450 on 125 custom designed invites (not pocketfolds) ... also remember to add in postage in your invite budget

it all depends on what kind of invitations you are looking at.
You can get 125 invitations for $200, you can get 125 invitations for $2000 -- I ordered 125 invitations from Encore's newest wedding collection, I also had 100 of the envelopes fully addressed with their calligraphy to match my invites...total cost was $1195

When all is said and done with the 'extras' that we're adding ourselves to the invites (pocketfolds and monogram ribbons), we've probably spent around $800 on 125 invites, before postage. FH REALLY wanted to go all out with them, even though I was happy with the simple ones. . .

We spent about $600 on 150 invites... That is NOT including postage which is going to be over $200!

Thanks to a discount, I spent just under $1000 (not including postage or calligraphy) for 175 invitations - they are pocketfolds with custom layered bellybands.

We bought 100 from Michaels. Used coupons for it and wounded up spending $17!!!!
FH printed it off at work on a high speed high res printer and he was done in 2 minutes.

i found a seller on etsy to make mine... some other girls on here are also using her... etsy is like an ebay but you can request custom items and everything is handmade... dazzle0604

I went to two seperate locations that both had TONS of invitations to choose from, many different companies. I ended up finding a really nice Pocketfold invite for a total of $400. This includes invite, response card, reception card, accomadation card, monogram seal, and return address print. But I saw invites that looked the same for about $1000. So, if you have patience keep looking.

My invites are ENCORE too!!!!!!! haven't gotten my official quote yet so we'll see.

I spent 300 for 75 custom made invitations. I got them from a seller on etsy.com. If you become a member on etsy- you can do something thats called an Alchemy
Alchemy is a space on Etsy where buyers can post requests for custom items. Sellers then bid on the opportunity to make the item and win the sale. It's your opportunity to collaborate with a crafter or artisan to get exactly what you're seeking.
Its so easy. I went on there and put in a alchemy for 75 springy type wedding invites and within 5 minutes i had 10 people contacting me, showing me their work. Its a great site for all sorts of things. I got my flower for my hair on there too

We bought the main part of the invites via Wedding Paper Divas. When FH and I (okay, more him, believe it or not) decided to mount them to pocketfolds, we got the supplies via cardsandpockets.com. Lastly, I'm in the process of having a monogram ribbon made up by shell1879 (Michelle, my date twin!). . .dedecakes made my monogram!!! Seriously, LIW has saved my invites!!!

We spent $875 for 140 custom invites, (3 layer, raised printing, with a bow) response cards with printed envelopes, return addresses on all envelopes in raised printing. That doesn't include postage. We're doing custom postage from Zazzle with our dog Abby, which will cost another $150 or so.
ETA: That doesn't include hand calligraphy, which is another $200 ish.

85 for $148 (including all ribbons, seals, etc) DIY pocketfold invites - pics in my album!! LOVE them. and I LOVE saving all the money even more
