I don't view invites as that important. So I'm not spending more than $100. If I have to I'll print them myself. Thats just me.

I haven't even started yet, but I hope to keep all costs under $200, excluding postage I guess.. I am making them myself.

Invites are important to me since it sets the tone of the wedding so I'm spending b/t $500-$700. I could've done the DIY route, but I just didn't want to spend the extra time (and I really love the raised printing which you don't get with DIY).

ETA: 125 or 150 invites

I think it depends on how many you get. Some people will spend $500 to $900 or more but you have to know how many invitations they have.

I have a very small wedding so my number does not mean anything compared to someone who has double or triple the amount of guests.

I payed $249 for about 150 STD and invites. I'm gonna print them myself.

I'm in the process of this now and for what I like, I have got quotes from 500-900... so I guess I have to rethink it...

I figured around 300-400... we have about 180 guests...

I had to have letterpress once I saw it, I spent a ton. But I love them. I'm in the $1000+ category.

Me 232 for 100 (everything included) -went the very simple route.

This is what I loved but couldnt afford (LOL)

We spent $600+ for approximately 150 invitations. We spent that much even though we went the DIY route.... everything adds up! We spent almost $100 on adhesive (glue tape) alone!
