How much are you spending on invites? POLL

Just trying to determine how much of a budget I should have for this. How much are you spending?

$800.57 including all (proof, extra envelopes, tax, etc) for 150

Mine were $397 for 100 invites. But I also had colored ink (wine) and colored (wine) lined inner envelopes. I think I did pretty good.

We spent about $550 (give or take a few dollars) for 150...included the invites, inner and outer envelopes, reception card, response card w/envelope, etc.

spent around $600 for 150 invites (with rsvp's, inner envelopes, extra envelops, etc) and 100 save the dates with envelops.

diva - i think your poll might be more accurate if you make it per invite...no? Total cost is reflective of the amount of people, which is different for all of us.

I have budgeted $5 per invite.

Mine were $230 for 150 invites/response cards/reception cards, the proofs, colored ink and colored lined inner envelopes. I was also very lucky because a friend of ours works at a publishing company and got us 50% off. So, they would have been around $460 with no discount. Most places though, especially online, offer some type of discount.

I only needed 100 invites so between them and the postage, I spent about $160 - $175

Diva- i know you are a very DIY bride... are you considering making them? or are you going to buy them??

i made them, and spent around $120 on them (the postage actually cost more than the invites )
the kits (we got 3) came to $93 and then we ordered lined inner envelopes/matching outers/ tissue paper... and that was just under $30... and i LOVE my invites. they werent really hard to do either.... the biggest pain in the butt was addressing/assembling them... but you;d have to do that anyway if you ordered them.

ETS- $120 for 150 invites (we didnt need all 150, but we had extras JIC)
