Our invites were under a dollar each.
We bought them at Michaels and DIY'd 'em. Used coupons, naturally.
Added a little extra sparkle with a crystal that we put on them, and I DIY'd the mailing labels so they looked purty.
They have pocketfold DIY kits at Michaels, in case you're interested.

With postage and everything, about $7/invite. I really wanted raised printing (thermography?) so I paid a little extra for that. And I had more then one color printing which was additional. All in all I got my invitation plus 4 inserts. I used A Bridal Papiere, pics in my album.

for the pocketfolds, inserts, and tab (tab was from a separate company than the invites) it was $525 for 125 of them!

about $7 Not including stamps. But soooo worth it!!!
We went the DIY route, we are doing the pocket folds. My friend is a graphic designer so she hooked me up and I added a feather and peacock wax seal to them to make it look special. pics are in my album
