How much are you spending on your bridal party?

How much are you spending on your bridal party?

How much money are you spending on your bridal party gifts and what are you getting? I'm thinking of doing a personalized charm bracelet or something.. is that enough or should I get something else too? I tend to go overboard when it comes to gifts

Im not sure yet but I have 7 girls so I dont wat to spend more than $40-50 each is that cheap??

A charm bracelet would be really cute! I'm thinking of having my mom make everyone's day of jewelry, but as far as gifts for everyone, I really don't want to spend more than $100 on each person. I think even $50 as you said would be enough - people aren't in a bridal party for the gifts, they're in it because they want to be a part of your day. I want them all to know that they're special, but without it emptying my bank account!

I think I spent way too much. $350 each plus I'm paying for their hair and makeup.

For the 7 kids in bridal party spent about 900 on their outfits and toys.

I'm doing little lunch boxes full of stuff. I really don't know if the girls care that much for jewlerly, and the boys just want to break things.

I have no other bridal party, it was just too complicated, I would have been one of those brides with 20 people in her bridal party.

I got them all swovorski necklaces... at least for the adults. I have 6 adults... so I spent about 75 on the MOHs and 50 on the BMs. Then for the kids, under age 10, 5 of them, I got a necklace and matching earring set for about 30 each. I have pics of all of them in my album...

But, it doesn't stop there... LOL. I bought little tiny totes that I'm working on now... I am adding these beads to spell out their names..and patches...butterflies and flowers. Also have pics of what I started so far in my album. THEN...Micahels had a clearance rack of patterned tissues, and bath fizzes shaped as roses...so I got them too. Lol. And, lastly, I am planning on getting ballerina slippers for all of them.

I ended up spending about 50 - 60 each

I only have three bm's


ETA I'm also paying for them to have their make-up done

i'm getting them strings of real pearls. i expect to spend somewhere between 500-1000 (total)depending on what kind of sale i catch at macys...

I agree with the about $50.00. But the dresses we are planning to get are pretty inexpensive, nice enough to use again, and they each get to pic their own style. I will most likely also be paying for their makeup and hair.

I will be waiting for Macy's to have a terrific sale, or shop at overstock.com (great for jewelry) or somewhere I can get good quality for cheap prices.

If anyone says anything, oh well. If that is what our friendship is about then why did you want to be in the bridal party?

I am spending between $50-70.
I have 6 girls..each got the cosmetic bags from fortunoff's that were $15

and today I am going to the coach outlet store to buy them all wristlets
and a halloween candle from the yankee candle store (since they are all into candles and love halloween as much as i do)

hoping that does the job, because I am on a very tight budget... :(

I'm spending close $100 each. I'm getting personalized bags which can be used as beach bags later. In there I putting coach wristlets which I bought at the outlet. And A burt's bees moisturizing kit. I might include a scented candle as well. For my MOH I was thinking of also giving her a Spafinder.com gift certificate or something along those lines.

ETA I love the idea of the halloween candles from yankee candle!

I am spending around 70 on bms. i have 6.

so far i bought bm tanks, flip flops, and a spa kit. I am now looking for a necklace to waer the day of. i might also buy them totes.

I bought my moh all of this plus, i took her to see mamma *** on broadway.

my fg's are getting a trinket box personalized from things remembered and a book about being a fg.

my gm's are getting a really nice pair of sunglasses.. they are running around 100 a pair.

I am thinking BOUT getting a sterling silver piggy bank for my 2 rb's. But i am not sure yet.

i only have 3 girls and they are all family (sister, cousin and FSIL). I'm spending probably over $200 on each girl. That includes a few small things when I asked them, DOJ and a cute bag to put it in and paying for their hair.

Tote bags, shirts, flip flops, probably a compact or perfume bottle, 'bling' initials on bag, and then the 'real gift' so, it looks like I'm planning to increase my original budget on this and heading toward 100 a pop.

I'm doing it little by little though, which helps. I have nine months to go!
