How much are you spending on your videographer

So I'm still trying to decide on which videographer to use and I was wondering you ladies would share your quotes.

$1,000 for video. I am using the Wedding Plaza (Floral Park) which is the place I also booked for photography (i negotaited that down from their original quote of $1500).

we booked patken and got video and photo for about $4000.
its a little more then we wanted to spend, but they do amazing work!

We paid $1500 for a friend of the family that was referred to us. It's my only regret. I wish i had booked a more cinematographic videographer and spent more on my video. But it wasn't something I knew until it was too late. I thought I didn't even WANT a video! That's why I got the most simple coverage. In the end I wish I had a better video, but LOVE the coverage I got and am SO happy I decided to get a simple video.

$1500 includes 3 dvds, 1 raw footage dvd, pics in beginning and honeymoon pics at end, plus menus.... THOMAS PAUL!!!!!!!!

im spending 1800 going with gil from fade to black giving me a lot of coverage of the day 3 dvds basic stuff but he does great work he shot the us open this year i know that that doesnt matter but ive heard such wonderful things
