How much are your....

Bridesmaid dresses?

Some of my BM's seem to have an issue with my BM's dress being to much money.....

Mine is $171.00 with tax inculded my dress place gave us 10% off of the dresses....and the Alterations are capped at $65.00

Do you girls think this is alot of money? Because I insist that it isn't.

I haven't picked mine out yet, but I think that price is quite reasonable. All the dresses that I have looked at are close to that price or even more.

we chose dresses that are 160, i think. i tried to stay on the reasonable side, especially since they can never wear this dress again.

if you are going with a dress that like camacho's which is black and can be worn to other occassions, then i wouldn't mind paying more.

unfortunately these are the going rates

That is kinda average.... I was able to get my BM dresses for a lot less using Net bride .com... the price went from 167 down to 123 (including shipping) the only thing with using them is that you have to find someone to do the alterations - so theres no cap.

I don't think that's unreasonable. My dresses were about $165 too. I've seen some dresses at the $300 mark which I think is a bit much to ask but anything less than $200 is more than fair.

mine are like $240 but my aunt works in a boutique and we'll be able to get a little discount from them

I found my dresses for $140 and ordered them from www.perfectbridal.com for $112 no shipping!

That's reasonable!!! I hope my BMs do not complain when I pick out mine bc I paid over $200 for one of their dresses and threw it out a month later.

Honestly, I think that is an average price. I've been in 6 weddings and the dresses ranged in price from $150-$250. My BM dresses are $110 through Phyllis at Gownfind.

I think that if buying a nice dress for a wedding it would be AT LEAST $100.00. So no I don't think it is too much. My BM dresses are $187 ... $202 with tax...alterations capped at $70.00.

My dresses are only $150 and we got 15% off because I got my dress there too.

I think that the price is in the average range. The BM dresses I am looking for are in the same price range as well. If you think about it, there are dresses that are way more than that. I think it is affordable.

no that's not a lot of money. it's about average. my BM dress is about that $150 or so with a $45 alterations cap. the MOH dress is $180 with same cap for me.
