My girls paid 138.00 for the dress...
Alterations will be done by family friends.
All I ask is that they purchase dyable shoes.
ETA: No. I am not contributing to this cost.

For my wedding the dresses are $134. The alterations are $55 if we get them altered there.

my mother is making all the dresses and we are giving them to the girls as a gift. if i had to buy, i would not have my girls pay more than $50-$75 for a dress (i would pay the total difference). i would try to get something plain, simple and rewearable, right off the rack!

Mine come to $220. That is with $15 extra to add spaghetti straps and $20 extra for a shawl. There are free alternations on their dresses. They are each paying for their own dress.

No bridesmaids, but MOH dress came from Lord & Taylor off the rack. I think it was originally $250, but went on sale a week later, so plus a coupon, I think it came down to $135.
Right now it fits perfectly, but she's losing weight for her own wedding, so she might need alterations. I don't plan to pay for that.
I am paying for hair and makeup the day.

I was hoping to stay under $200 (around $150), but all my girls were really interested in looking at Vera Wang BM's dresses, so it might be more in the $300 range. They're payng on their own.

My dresses are $192. I am only paying for my future sister in law's dress (she's 16, and her whole family is flying here). Girls can where whatever shoes they want, do their hair or not if they want. I only have 4 girls total and one guy. He is not wearing a dress.
