Is 1% milk good enough to drink? What do you do if you're not really a milk drinker?

Re: How much calcium do you need?
I never drink milk. I am not sure what the amount is you need. My doctor said that not drinkng milk is ok just make sure I continue with my prenatals. She said OJ with calcium, tums, and green leafy veggies are good to add to my diet. Esp when I started getting charlie horses - which could be due to lack of calcuim (among other things).

I'm not a milk drinker either. I try and eat a lot of yogurt, I have one every morning, and I eat a LOT of cheese (swiss, american, etc.. No blue cheese of course!) I also eat a lot of Grilled cheeses w/ tomato... YUM! Pizza is also one of my favorites, which has cheese.
OMG I'll eat just about anything.. I LOVE food and I'm PROUD to say it..

Re: How much calcium do you need?
I never drink milk - well, maybe a splash in tea every now and then! When I was preggo, besides my prenatals, I also took TUMS for the massive heartburn. TUMS are great as a calcium supplement too.
