How much can I expect to pay for my favors???

Just trying to calculate my expenses so far--agh..........and I have no idea how much 'typical' favors are. I am having 150 people at my wedding. What are your favors and how much was the total. Thanks

I think it really depends on what you want to do. We did picture frames that wound up costing about $3-4 each after the wrapping and all that jazz. If you want to do something a little more than that then it's going to cost you more money. Or you can do less, like chocolates or lottery tickets. Some people are even doing the donation thing where they inform their guests that a donation has been made to a certain fund in lieu of wedding favors. I've seen it done on really nice paper at each guests spot and I've seen it done on the back of a chocolate bar. And nobody knows how much you spent.

Then there's people like my brother's friend who gave all of the guests a Tiffany vase as the favor.

It's really up to you.

We are planning on doing CDs.
cases were $10 for 100
Blank Cds you can get pretty cheap $40/100
burning--FREE (friends)
Labels/insert (not sure, I think about $45) printing them ourselves.
Probally Just wrap with pretty ribbon.

Figuring on spending $1.50 or so each.
