It takes a lot to gross me out usually. There are very little things I've seen that give me the heebie jeebies.
I sometimes have to stop myself from talking about gross things (like in Cheryl's thread on the 3 month old dead guy) because I might cause other people to get more grossed out.
So, I'm sorry. Especially the ladies with child, who may be experiencing morning sickness!
What does it take to gross you out?

hearing/reading about it...takes a lot to gross me out...but seeing something really nasty....totally freaks me out...
ie: recent episodes of Prison Break - the gruesome blood - i had to turn my face away!

I'm pretty much OK with most of the stuff. But if I'm in the ER with someone I get kinda freaked out with the blood thing, tho I have no problem watching it on TV and in the movies. And I don't know if this would constitute as gross, but the very thought of snakes give me the heebie jeebies.
With everything else I'm usually good tho!!

I can handle pretty much most of the gross stuff. I hate insects though. My SIL sent me an email with macro photography of insects. I could barely look at it!!

ditto....i can SEE just about anything...without grossing out. but once the pungence hits the nostrils...i'm done.

DH and I were talking about Heroes the other night and I happened to mention that I observed a Craniotomy a few years ago. I got a little carried away with the description of how they did it and what it looked like before he stopped me with a look of horror on his face.
But get me in a room with someone with bedsores and I'm a goner.

It's totally circumstancial for me. Watching lipo or surgery on TV? Gross. DH cuts his hand badly? I can practically stitch him up myself. I'm tough when I need to be, I guess.
