How much cash to an all inclusive HM?

I know there is a thread on this but I can't find it...we are leaving for our HM tomorrow and have no idea how much cash to bring to Sandals St. Lucia!! Does anyone have an idea or know where the previous thread is? TIA!

We're not planning on bringing too much. We are going to St. Lucia Sandals. Everything is included, plus we can go to the other restaurants in the other hotels as part of the package.

Yes, we want to do a ziplining thing through the rainforest, couples massage, dinner on the beach and maybe a horseback riding thing...not to mention some tipping!

I never travel with a lot of cash. Just use your credit card!

We brought $1000 and needed to take out another couple of hundred.

we do all-inclusives all the time. Just got back from HM at Sandals Antigua

Charge all your excursions. You only need to bring $300-$500 in cash would should be more than enough. I brought that and we went to the casino every night so I lost some and won some but eventually came home with the same amount of money I brought.

You only need cash to buy souveniers, tips (we tip but I don't think they're suppose to take it) and taxes to get out of the country, airport food, cabs, etc. Most places also have ATM's or some way to access cash.
