Hey ladies congrads, i was at few florist some say 10% other 30%, my wedding not unil next june seems like giving $650.00 which is 30%now is little crazy they are not ordering flowers, it just save date.. what do u think?

I'm using Burtons and I only had put down $50. The rest isnt due until 1 week before the wedding

we put down like $900 (way more than they required) i think the contract says 10%

my deposit came out to a little less than 15% of my budget. I think they are asking you for too much.

was told by Flowers by Brian that the required deposit is 20% of the total.

my advice...dont give anything very large that is non refundable. I lost $900 that way with my florist!

We did not have to leave a deposit...we actually did not have to pay for our flowers until after the wedding...this is not the norm but it is how our florist does it.
