How much did it cost you to DIY

Your menu's? White Aisle charges $1.75 per menu and for my guest list it would come out to about $262. Do you think I could DIY for less? Thanks ladies

Re: How much did it cost you to DIY

i bought paper from michaels and paper and more (but u could probably get it all from paperandmore.com)

i got blue metallic cardstock 12x12 (i can get 2 menus per sheet)

and natural white cardstock 8.5x11 (also can get 2 menus per sheet)

so i needed only 100 of each of those,

paper and more was 18.99 for a pack of 100 white, and for metallic on paperandmore (i jus looked it up since i didnt use it from there) for 12x12 its 30.99 for a pack of 100

so since i did the math on ur numbers and saw that u will be making about 150 menus, its definitely cheaper to DIY

for those 2 packs of paper, it would be $50, then u have to figure a new black and color ink cartridge for the job, so another $50 maybe if u get the 2pack? and then paper adhesive which enough for that from michaels would only cost maybe $25 MAX im totally overshooting that.....

so total id say would cost you $125 and thats an OVERestimate!!!

paperandmore.com also has vellum paper, and lotsa other stuff so u can pick out what style u want

im doing metallic paper, w/the natural white stock thats actually printed on adhered to the metallic, and in the top corner (where theres room on the metallic) im going to glue a seashell cuz i have TONS left over from other shell projects!

Voila!! DIY all the way!

ETA: oh, and of course, use your 20% off michaels coupons lol.....and what isaid would be enough to make like 200 menus, so u could use the paper left over to make cry packs, or other useful things....it wont really go to waste so you'll be getting alot more for your money too, as long as you're still going to use it!
