How much $$ did the contents of your OOT bags cost you?

How much $$ did the contents of your OOT bags cost you?

I found a company that's willing to supply me with all of the stuff I need to go into my OOT guest bags. I'm just trying to figure out if it's cheaper to have them do it or for me to do it myself.

Would you mind sharing how much you spent on the contents of your OOT guest bags (not including the bags themselves or tags or anything like that)? Also if you could mention what you included, that would be really helpful. Thanks

What is the name of the company that said they would do it?

I've been putting them together over several months. The expenses for it are a little at a time and I wait until I see a good price. I have not added it up but there is nothing terribly expensive. The most expensive thing I bought were trial size vials of Advil. I also considered the little Advil 2 packs. I would think that it would total $15 or less but maybe I am way off! My OOT bag has mostly trial sizes of toiletries (but not the same items that the hotel gives in the rooms). I will later add water bottles and some snacks. The bags themselves are from a $1.00 store and I made labels to be taped or glued on. I got some inexpensive tissue paper also. I am also ginve each wedding party member a bag with things they may need the day of the wedding, even if they do not stay at the hotel.

It's the Welcome Bag Co. They're affiliated with MyWeddingLabels.com . They have some really great options for things to put in bags. Since I work so much, I just don't know if I'm going to have time to go out shopping for the types of products I want for my OOT boxes and all the things I want are the things they offer!

Ooh, you are very generous! I just looked at their stuff and I feel like I will be giving some crappy stuff and people will think I'm really cheap! Not that they'd be wrong. I was thinking just a couple bottles of water, some homemade cookies and a bag of chips. But I can understand going through a company since you are so busy.

The price they quoted me was actually much cheaper than what's on their site since I already have my boxes and didn't need the water (they told me it adds a lot of $$ to the shipping charges), labels, or tissue. I was able to find some small 'gourmet' foods online at imperial-foods.com for pretty cheap, but I just don't know if, in the long run, I'll end up spending as much as I would by using them.

Oh, believe me, I was perfectly happy giving people some water, homemade cookies and maybe some SmartFood popcorn. My FH is the one who is all about this gourmet basket. When it comes to food, he's got some opinions but flowers, tableclothes, not so much

I'm making them for my friend and I'm guessing they'll be in the range of $10-15 per room. They'll probably include 2 toothbrushes, 2 individual packs of Advil, nail file, 2 bottles of water, a bag of NY Deli potato chips, 2 orange juice boxes, bag of mini muffins, and some brochures about things to do in NY.

Thanks for the ideas!

I have already begun to buy some stuff. I got little bottles of shower gel and lotion for bath and body. I was also looking into the small bottles of wine. We are also getting chips, gum, and pretzels. That is all I have come up with.
So far I have spent about $40... but I'm not sure what the final cost will be. Hopefully not too much.

I didn't get the 2 pack. I got the small vials. I think they had both at Harmon Cosmetics.
