How much did you pay for postage

My dad's gf works at the post office. Gave her my invite and she said that it's too tall to be considered a letter and to be safe and not have anything sent back I should put on 2 of the 61cent stamps for each invite. That's $1.22 per invite.

We put a .44 and a .61 for a total of $1.05 each. Ours are square and had a bow, so they charged us for more

Oh jeez, it almost sounds like nothing, until you realize that you need to mail about 135 or so......

why is this the case with everything???

got mine weighed.. they are also 'oversized' so they have to be sorted by hand..

OH WOW - mine was only $0.61 - although it was heavy and the outer envelope was heavy, had a wax seal, and had a ribbon - it came to 0.61

it also depends which post office you go to - i went to the city and they said there was going to charge me 1.05/invite I flipped! then I went to Fresh Meadows - they are so nice - she said it's fine 0.61!

Yeah, mine too. It's kind of high too I guess so dad's gf said we can try less, but depending on where it goes it may be sent back. I figured it out and it's really only a $20 difference and will save me the headache. I'd flip if they came back for that reason

I'm a 2 cake stamp person too... Can't believe it's so expensive!!
