About $600 for 110 - I couldn't resist the lure of the pocketfold

399 for 100 but we had to order an additional 25 and that KILLED us

The original ones I wanted where $700, but my family talked me out of spending so much. So the ones I ordered where about $300 for 100 invites.

Saved myself $400!

I'd have to say... absolutely not!!! The way invites are today... you can make so much of a glamorous invite for a fraction of what a vendor would charge!

I am making our invites and just ordered all of the supplies.... minus my priceless labor and postage (everyone pays postage) I'll spend less than $300 for 120 invites...PLUS.... my supplies include enough for save the dates, favor tags and ribbons, tears of joy, menus, programs..... and no doubt... I've seen invites like mine that are sold for $20 a piece!!!!!

You can DIY simple or extreme... either way, you save money.... keep in mind though that you may not save heartache, frustration and stress! It all depends on how crafty you are with a papercutter and how savvy you are on the computer! DIY can be a bit of an undertaking. And looking at some of the posts above... an undertaking not worth taking to some... to me.... worth every waking 2am hour!!!!!!!
