I know this has been asked before. I just feel like mine are sooo expensive.
Price should include calligrapher or laser printing and all enclosure cards.

We made our own so we only paid for the paper to print them on. I don't remember how much exactly.

I already got my invitations and I love them. I just feel like my deposit alone is what most brides spend on all of their invitations together. no big deal.

Exclusively Weddings has nice invites at a great price and they always have coupon codes for 20% off!
Mine were about $150 for 100 invites with the coupon.

I am spending about $1500, and it doesn't include calligraphy (since I'm doing that myself).
We got Crane's invitations and they include the following: Invitation Reception Card Reply Card (reply envelopes have return address printed) Hotel Accomondation card Lined Envelopes with return address printed Inner Envelope
I guess I'm paying a ridiculous price compared to the other replies....maybe I'll have to rethink this?

I picked them up this morning... With invites and calligraphy they will be around $850.
I think it comes down: How much am I willing to pay and can I use this money for something else on my wedding day.

It is hard to do a poll like this b/c it also depends on HOW MANY INVITATIONS YOU ARE ORDERING.
Some brides on here have weddings with 75-100 people
Others have over 300!!!
So you cant compare someone who needs 50-100 invitations with someone who needs 200+

so true, i start to see some of these results and I want to ..... as for us, we spent almost 1800 on 165 invites!!!! that includes a response card & envelope w/ postage and printing reception card direction card inner and outer envelopes (inner is lined w/ the tissue paper that matches the invite) return addresses on all and printing of names on the inner envelopes pre tied bows w/ the leaves already attached....definitely expensive, but I loved them

I spent about $1500 on 150 invites. That includes the calligraphy on the inner and outer envelopes and a custom map.

my invites were my 'splurge' item. After a 20% disount they were a little over $1,100 (that includes the calligraphy) for 125 invites
