I'm having such a hard time finding shoes that I like and that are comfortable!! I was looking at zappos.com today and found Charles David shoes that had like 5 reviews saying they are really comfortable..but they are $150 ...way more than what I wanted to spend...
I spent about $70 dollars at macys. They had a really great selection of non-traditional wedding shoes.

Re: How much did you spend on shoes?
80 dollars.
sorry to hijack, but i'm trying to sell my shoes because we changed our date from the winter to summer, and i want to wear open toed shoes. if anyone is interested, they are a size 6 and have never been worn or dyed. i bought them at sandy's shoes, so you can always go back and get them dyed. personally, i liked these better than the dyeables, colorifics, touch ups and special occassions ones that were similar. selling price: 60 bucks.
I spent $35 for white ballet slipper shoes (FH isn't too tall).

$75 - I bought them at After Five in Port Washington. They don't have the greatest hours so i'd call them first. 516-767-2577.
Its a tiny shop and they are really nice. just explain that you're getting married and they'll steer you away from the uncomfortable shoes and recommend some good ones.
Happy shopping!

Re: How much did you spend on shoes?
$56 on shoebuy.com No sales tax, and free shipping and returns, plus I had an extra $10 off coupon code (expired now - sorry). So I paid $46 for them!!
I tried them on at Craft shoes in Commack and then priced them online. shoebuy.com had the best deal.
