I am looking to get my Save the Dates done by the end of summer and have started to look around. Im looking for something to match our vintage/antique 'theme' or 'feel' so to speak.
How much is everyone spending on their Save the Dates? Most of what I have liked has been $2-$3 a piece. Is that nuts? Especially since it goes in the garbage?
Any help, photos, links would be helpful! THANKS

I have photos in my album but we spent around $140 for 100 STDs. That included the STD magnets from Vistaprint.com, Hotel nfo Postcard, Postage (both domestic and international), and personalized stickers from Shutterfly.com to use as envelope seals.

I had my photographer through them into my package
I was allowed as many as I needed They were 5x7 prints not magnets but people have them up on their fridges anyway

they have 1000s to choose from. probably about $1.50 each?? the more you buy, the less expensive it is (per card obvi)

I spent $138 with a coupon from magnet street. We got 100 STD's MAGNETS with silver lined envelopes.

I'm working with Jessica Rini for all my stationary and she is wonderful! Our STDs are so gorgeous. She will offer advice on how to spend or splurge depending on what your looking for. FM me if you'd like her info.

I couldn't see spending money on these things...I used cards that came in my wedding planner book that someone gave me...I got a box on envelopes from Staples and out they went. I wanted to use the money on other stuff.. I really kept my budget low and am happy I did... I can remember when nobody even did these things and people still came to weddings.. See what you can afford and have fun...I love looking at the magnets and stuff people have made.. I am sure they are appreciated.

I think I spent like $20 on 200 magnets through Vistaprint during one of their sales...you know, the sales that happen every effing day LOL
They had a pic of us.
And the magnets were business-card sized.

Agiftfulheart.com had some good deals on STD magnets. That's where I ended up getting mine. I think I ended up spending just over $1 each.

I spent 80 on 200 magnets that i designed my self and uploaded on to vista print! if you have access to photo shop its really easy. also magnet street has really nice ones that are about 150 for 100

Check out 123print.com. Their prices are unbelievable! I got my e-party invites (50 for $20.95 + shipping) and my friend got her save the date magnets - they have non-magnet STDs (small size: 80 for $34.95 + shipping). Both products looked great!

I used this company as well. They have select designs that are maybe $0.60 a magnet. They were wonderful to work with, I received a proof in a few days and the order came in quick. The magnets are glossy, and not just a piece of paper stuck on a magent. They also have these cute stickers with the bride and grooms names on the back of each magnet.
FYI, they don't come with a card, you have to purchase this separately on the site. I didn't want to spend extra on a card to put the magnet on to put in the envelope. So what I did was buy a pack of blank index cards from Staples for like a buck or two, rolled up some tape on the backside of the magnet and placed them on the cards. No one made any comments about the index cards. And everyone has said how much they loved the magnets.
