How much did you spend on your OOT bags per person?

hrm.... I never really calculated it per person.

I think I spent a total of about $20 a box...maybe $15. I had 20 boxes.

Including all the materials -- bows, timelines copied at Kinkos, boxes, etc. -- I think we were at about $17 a box and we have 24 boxes.

ETA: Without all the materials (boxes, ribbon), it was $10.50 per box. A lot of that was the cheese ($63 total) and water ($60) that we ordered but that includes tax & shipping. Hope this helps

Stupid question....but where did you get the actual bags that you used??

All the stores I've been into are charging at least $1/bag (I'm trying to limit costs to about $3 for entire bag/contents).

I went to costco and purchased a great deal of my stuff in bulk, but it still added up because I wanted them to be really full and have a wide assortment. Each box was jam-packed hehehe

i don't remember exactly but we had 40 bags and i want to say that they were only around $6-$7 each and we put a lot of stuff in them...We went to Costco --Each bag had:

two bottles of Poland Springs water
snack wells cookies
peanut butter crackers
a big bag of m&ms
two big bags of North Fork potato chips
Doritos
twizzlers
blow pops
two packets of motrin
two little bags of peanuts
linden cookies
a few packs of gum
rice krispy treat
granola bars
a map to the wineries
a list of 'things to do'

i think that was it...
