Lizzie - me too! I spent about a grand for the veil and headpeice together. AND I knew better! BUT I wanted to pick something while I was in my dress. I know a lot of you ladies order it online or from less expensive shops but I just wasn't comfortable doing that and making a purchase without knowing exactly how it would look...

Re: how much did you spend—with update

I spent $130 for my veil with the scalloped edging and beading to match the bodice/neckline of my dress, headpiece is my something borrowed (from my MOH/Cousin who got married in July) and after my hair trial I may be looking for one more accent piece/hair jewelry since I don't want to wear the veil the whole night. Second pic also has my DOJ...which I got for a steal!

Got my Cathedral Veil and headpiece at Barrons. Total $250 and I love ittttt!!

Re: how much did you spend—with update

Mine was $600 for a cathedral and two tier fingertip all 3 lined with swarovski crystal trim. A little pricey I know but I didnt think it was too bad and I was obsessed with the veils! I also plan to wear the two tiered the whole time most likely, I love it so much! SO SPARKLY!

for headpiece I plan on something with crystals from tri county for the back/ or side of my hair, nothing on top bc of all the bling I have going on :)
