nothing.... he didn't show up!
but even if he did i don't think we would have tipped him. we were already paying him $650 and that is pure profit.

well he sent his father in his place... he didn't even call to tell us he wasn't coming or that his father was coming instead. so we found out literally seconds before we were about to be married that this stranger who was unfamiliar with our ceremony would be marrying us- who we weren't sure was an actual licensed officiant and spent the whole honeymoon wondering if we were legally married. he also never apologized.
read my review for more details but we later found out that he decided to take a more lucrative photography contract for the same day and just not tell us. so DO NOT USE RYAN KAPLAN OF SPECIAL CEREMONY / SMALL MOMENTS STUDIO. He is a slime ball!

My FIL was in charge of tips for the wedding day and I had no clue on what he tipped anyone until we got back from the HM, he tipped the officiant $100, but he was awesome the day of. He completely changed the whole ceremony that day to be customized for DH so that we wouldn't have to say anything for the whole ceremony except for I DO the whole time and he was really funny. I have to say we were entertaining during our ceremony.
