Veils seem to be a big topic today... hope it's not getting too repetitive!
Just wondering how much is reasonable for a veil, and what people are spending. If you don't mind, please give the price of your veil and short description (since obviously different kinds of veils will have different price ranges.) And, of course, pictures are always welcome!

I got my veil for 200. I thought it was alot since I only spent 750 on my dress! But my mom made me get it b/c it was a perfect match w/ my dress!

ABout $300 for VEil and headpiece together (can't remember the breakdown).
ETA: My veil was simple elbow length with crystal edging

I spent $250, and same thing, it just matched so nicely w/ my dress.

My MIL made mine- she ended up using tulle to get it to elbow length and did all of my beading so I doubt it even cost $10 b/c she had tons of tulle left which we used to wrap my favors She did it for me b/c the one I fell in love with was over $400 and I couldn't justify spending that much for 1 day... (and my FIL was going to surprise me and buy it for me but it was gone when my MIL and he went back ) Mine was perfect though

My was a finger tip length with pearls lining the edge. It was $175, but the manufacturer went out of business and I got the floor model at 1/2 price.

I figure around $300 with the veil, and the clips for my hair-I don't want to go over that by much.

i think mine was 180- it just went with my dress perfectly! its fingertip veil with crystal edges

about $200, pics in my album....mine was custom made with the piping i wanted and to fit my height and train length. off the rack should be alot less.

Got mine from Barron's in Tri County. It cost me $65 and it is elbow lenght (I think...either elbow or finger tip length!) and it has scattered crystals on the blusher and veil. HTH!
