How much did your BM pay for alterations???

How much did your BM pay for alterations???

My salon told me they cap their alterations for the BM at 65$ but wouldn't you know they charged all of my BM 65$ for just a HEM!!!!!! God, is this normal pricing for alterations???? I feel so bad for them!

for my sister's wedding my dress was 140, the alterations was 110!!!

It depends on how much work is done to the dress- I just picked up a dress that I had altered and it cost me 75 bucks.

Mine are capped at $40, unless something major needs to happen i.e. someone gets pregnant and panels have to be added.

Bridal Reflections Massapequa capped all my BMs alterations at $55 and SURPRISE SURPRISE... they ALL met that cap whether it was the girl who just needed a hem or the girl who lost 20lbs and needed to drop the gown 4 sizes!!! I'm starting to think this is a common rip-off, I mean practice.

My MOH had a cap of $65 which she was fully charged...but her gown had massive alterations.

Nothing. Their alternations were free.

My BMs are paying $75.00 whether they need the whole dress taken apart and rebuilt or just a hem.

I just paid $60 for alterations for my BM dress for my friend's wedding.
