How much did your BM's dresses cost?

Just curious on how much you are asking your girls to spend...

Mine are $175 plus tax and a $75 cap for alternations

BIG TIME! Ours way $200 due to the sash and not including alterations nad that was too high in my mind but the bm's picked it not me.

Whatever they wanted them to cost! I told the girls to buy ANY black, chiffon, knee length dress. They are coming to FL my destination wedding-I figured they could save $ on a dress!
Most of them paid less than $100 for their dress.

I think they came out to close to 200 with alterations and shoes.

My girls were told espresso tea length from jcrew. 2 girls were lucky and got theirs on sale for $65. The other girls spend $115-$180.

ETA: I think as long as it is under $200 it is fair. Unless your friends tend to be older and more set in their careers.
