I was just curious to know what everyone is paying for their dress...the one I want to order is Eve of Milady, but it's almost $5000!!!! This sounds insane to me. Is anyone else paying that much?

I fell in love with the dress even before I tried it on, and once I did, I was hooked! The dress is costing a small fortune, but my mother graciously offered to pay for everything, even though I told her it was too much. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful and caring mother and I sincerely appreciate everything she does for me - what she sacrificed to be able to buy me that dress is a memory that I will always remember and cherish.

Mine was 410 with no tax and delivery from Netbride- I highly recommend them.
Alterations were easy- I found someone right around the corner from me in LA. $130 for everthing.

$599. JMO...but I feel it's total insanity to spend anywhere close to 5K on a dress....I feel like if you look hard enough you can find one that you really like for a lot less....I'd rather see 5K go toward a down payment on a house or something like that.

I would absolutely agree with that, but we do already own a house...I guess I just have a hard time justifying spending that much money on something I will only wear once. But then I think hey, it's ok to be a little selfish sometimes!

Mine was 700 but we ordered it hem to hollow so it came to 800. I won't need too much in alterations, just taking it in a little and then the bustle.

I agree that spending $5K for a dress is stupid but... (I spend $6500).... I tried on different dresses (different prices) but none gave me the 'one' feeling. I didn't even see the price until later... ...it is once in a lifetime right?? Hopefully I will have my daughter wear it for her wedding...lol.. so we can get 2 for 1..
