we kinda never sat down and made a budget so i ahev no diea - right now since we are so close, we are afraid to see - but once we're married we plan to figure it out!!

I would say with everything our wedding will be about 75K.
It all really does add up so quickly...and that is just an guesstimate.

We're spending $22k ( plan on staying in that range, so far so good)- w/o HM
HM is costing us $4,300 (Hawaii)
All in all we're spending about $28k and that does not include my e-ring (FH paid for that alone )

Our budget, which we are still on target is $18,000. (includes rings)
Honeymoon is an extra $4,000.
We MUST stay on budget. Still looking at ways to cut corners.

I would prefer to spend no more than $25k, but I am afraid we may go over.
Believe you me, FH will not be pleased if we went over. He would prefer to spend the excess on the purchase of a house.
But yes, weddings are very expensive. It's a billion $ industry... can you believe?!
I've read that anything that's marked 'Wedding' is 200% more than the norm.

how is everyone paying so much. long island is expensive as it is to live here, let along have a wedding. mine is looking close to 50-60k. crazy, i tell you!

Well, I guess if I were to include the engagement ring, then we are a little over $40k! Man, I never thought it would cost so much... geesh!
