How much did/is everyone paying for E-pictures?

Original post by milana

We have our e-shoot tommrow morning and i just recieved the invoice from our photographer and i wanted to know is $690 a good price for e-pics? For some reason i feel as if it is a bit on the high side imo? This package includes (2) 8X10's, (3) 5x7's, and 3x5's in both color and black and white and transportation fee.

Ours is included free also, but if you just went to them for engagement pics they would be $200 (not sure if they charge an additional $100 for a cd of all images and some prints???)

Either way, your quote sounds a bit high. If Angelica Glass only charges $450, I think you might be able to get a better price, even if it's in San Francisco - prices tend to be similar out there to NY prices.

She says she shoots in film and so putting them digitally on a disk would be extra!!!! What the heck!!!! Why is she charging so much

i am already booked with her. I didnt know she shot with film only. She told me this today and our shoot is tommrow. And i never asked because i know nothing about photgraphy!!! Thanks for Angelica's price qoute. I guess my price is reasonable then compared to hers if you add tax and transportation fee. What i negotiated with my photographer is that she is going to keep the same price except she will format my pictures digitally for no extra charge since she never told me she only shoots with film. Which was nice of her i guess!

That does seem a little high IMO. Our were included with our package. Maybe you could ask her why it's so high.

Ours were included in the package too but I got 2 quotes from 3 different photographers.

one quoted $600, another $500 and the last quoted $425.
